Willem Borsboom

Interaction Designer & Prototyper

Hi, I'm Willem. I'm fascinated by new technology, and by making it feel human rather than like a computer: designed around how people naturally move, perceive and think, and woven into the context it's used in. I get to know that context out in the field, prototype early to make ideas tangible, and bring user experience and business goals together.

A visitor experience that adapts to every property

Offices, campsites, hospitals and schools all welcome visitors, but each in their own way. For a platform that manages access to properties, I redesigned how visitors are invited and welcomed: with a pass in their phone’s Wallet that gets them in, and two buttons for exactly what they need at that place. A part-time freelance project of five months, from research to interface design.

Four phones with a Wallet pass each, for an office, a campsite, a hospital and a school, every pass with a QR code and two actions below it
One concept, four contexts: every pass gives access, with two actions that fit the place.
